Support Us

SOEC is a charity providing outdoor learning opportunities for children right across Scotland. We rely on people who want to support our work with children and young people. Your support is vital to our work. If like us, you believe that residential experiential learning is important for children and young people there are several ways you might support us.

Structure & Governance

Scottish Outdoor Education Centres (“SOEC”) is made up of two separate, but related, organisations:

  • Scottish Environmental and Outdoor Education Centres Association – SEOEC Assn. – which is a registered Scottish Charity (referred to below as the “Charity”); and
  • Scottish Outdoor Education Centres Limited – SOEC Ltd – which is a limited company (and is hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

SOEC is reliant on supportive Board members to help us reach our goals.  To find out more about SOEC’s governance or if you’d like to get involved at Board level please contact us for an application pack.

Become an Ambassador for SOEC

If you’re one of the many people who have enjoyed a stay at SOEC, please talk to your friends and colleagues and encourage them to visit us.

Support us Financially

There are several on-going projects to refurbish the Centres, to improve the programmes and create new activities for children. Donations large and small, a regular donation, a legacy or one off gift would be gratefully received and go directly toward our work with young people.

Stay Informed

You may wish to keep informed about our work, projects to refurbish the Centres and new partnership working. Please email us and we will provide you with a half yearly newsletter.

Please be reassured that SOEC will not share your information with any outside organisation.

If you would like to explore any ideas of how your funding might support children and young people through outdoor learning, please email us or. if you would prefer to talk to someone, please telephone 01899 221115.
