Schools
SOEC has been welcoming school groups to its Centres for many years and our programmes and facilities have been developed with this in mind.
Programmes can broadly be split into three categories:
Transition
Our Transition programme is especially designed to assist cluster groups make the move from Primary to Secondary school, a change that we recognise can be difficult for pupils.
Environmental
Our environmental programme aims to engage pupils with the natural environment. By allowing children to directly experience the joys of the natural world through environmental games and challenges, the programme encourages an awareness and empathy towards nature.
Multi-Activity
Our multi-activity programme is focused on delivering the aims of the Curriculum for Excellence through fun outdoor activities and games.
Natural Connections
SOEC has been recognised by Outdoor Education Fife as an approved provider for the Natural Connections Programme and we can deliver bespoke programmes in order to meet the aims of Natural Connections.
Music & Study Groups
SOEC has long welcomed groups who use our Centres as the ideal base for study and music residentials. Orchestras, field study groups, music groups and language schools are all regular customers of Scottish Outdoor Education Centres.
