As well as hosting school groups we also organise holiday activity clubs and skills weeks for individual children & young people during the school holidays and a range of expedition programmes incorporating Duke of Edinburgh & John Muir Awards.

Holiday Activity Clubs

Fun activities programme for local children, aged 8 – 11 delivered during the school holidays. The weeks comprise of mostly onsite activities, with the occasional offsite element and also can incorporate arts, cooking, ball games etc.

Skills Weeks

Two different programmes aimed at differing age groups and geared for those children that have already experienced the holiday activity clubs. These are mostly offsite sessions, with taster days in Paddlesports, climbing etc and can see progression in the chosen activity throughout the course of the week.

Duke of Edinburgh & Expeditions

SOEC also develops and delivers a range of expedition programmes incorporating Duke of Edinburgh awards or the John Muir Award, presenting groups with the challenge to Discover, Explore, Conserve and Share a wild place.
