Tijssen started as a tutor at SOEC in 2009 after coming over from The Netherlands. Tijssen moved to Scotland to pursue his passion in teaching young people about the outdoors and the environment.

Ally’s outdoor career started 6 years ago, the last 3 years have been working for SOEC. Ally’s passion for the outdoors started when she attended a 3 week course down in the Lake District at the age of 18.
Adam Burns, Dounans Tutor
ADAM BURNS, DOUNANS TUTOR
Adam has been working for Scottish Outdoor Education Centres since April 2011 and has been working in the outdoors as a tutor since finishing college in April 2009. He is an experienced tutor and has spent the last years improving and developing his technical skills as well as his knowledge and understanding of an outdoors tutors role.
