SOEC CEO Dave Spence
DAVE SPENCE, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dave started working life as a social worker in which he used outdoor activities (sailing, hillwalking, and climbing) for therapeutic purposes with children. Seeking to develop interests in environmental issues, he undertook undergraduate studies in Geography, Ecology and Outdoor Education Studies and, developing a taste for a challenge, he undertook research into ‘Sustainable Development and Energy in Southern Africa’ which involved teaching and lecturing.
SOEC Bookings Officer Diana
DIANA NUTT, BOOKINGS OFFICER
Usually the first point of contact for enquiries and information regarding future and existing Bookings, Diana is an experienced Administrator who has in the past worked in both private and public sectors. Knowledgeable in customer service and computers has led to the bookings system being streamlined to allow the booking procedure to flow more naturally and information being readily available to help with future planning.
SOEC Administration Officer, Karen Lamb
KAREN LAMB, ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Karen Lamb is currently the longest serving member of the SOEC Head Office team. Joining the organisation as the Booking Officer when the organisation was still in Edinburgh, Karen relocated with the Head Office when it moved to Biggar. She has been Administration Officer since 1994.
