At SOEC we cater for both the beginner and more experienced paddler. Whether your aim is to prepare for a sporting challenge or you just want to try something different in a safe environment, we have a course for you.

  • Most courses are two days in duration and start on site, progressing to open water . Courses are scheduled regularly throughout the year. Please contact us for dates and prices.

Kayaking and Canoeing At A Glance

  • As an SCA approved centre we strive to ensure the highest levels of safety and professionalism.
  • Tutor to client ratios are no more than 1: 10 on-site and 1: 8 off-site to ensure a highly individual level of tuition and support.
  • We provide specific family courses for a weekend with a difference.
  • Our instructors are also available to lead kayak and canoe expeditions for groups looking for a more adventurous experience.
